The permanent magnet motor series extends the effective rated speed range of the industry workhorse to 100 – 850 rpm, simplifying the drive system without the need for a reduction gear. Designed for frequency converters, permanent magnet motors provide high-precision speed control even without a speed sensor, as synchronous motors do not have rotor slip.
