BoWex FLE-PA/PAC Coupling

BoWex FLE-PA and BoWex FLE-PAC are torsionally rigid bent tooth flange couplings. The material combination of polyamide/steel enables maintenance-free, long-term operation of the couplings with very good friction coefficients.

Due to their compact design, these flange couplings are particularly suitable for installation on combustion engines. On request, our flywheel couplings are also available in a poka-yoke version.

To ensure a long service life of the coupling and the drive system, the flange coupling is centered via the alignment of the engine flywheel. In addition, the drive side should be connected to the engine housing via the pump mounting flange. For small mass moments of inertia on the load side, we recommend simplified sizing; for large mass moments of inertia, we recommend a torsional vibration analysis.

The BoWex FLE-PA is a torsionally rigid bent tooth flange coupling in the material combination of nylon/steel for combined drives of diesel engines with hydraulic pumps.
The FLE-PA mounting flange is made of glass-fiber reinforced polyamide with high mechanical strength and thermal stability. The hub with external bent teeth is made of steel.
The bent tooth flange coupling BoWex FLE-PA allows extremely short installation times and can be easily mounted without any additional centering tools. The flange coupling is available in various sizes and all common SAE connection sizes. Special connection flanges are also available.

The BoWex FLE-PAC bent tooth flange coupling is a further development of the BoWex FLE-PA and is suitable for combustion engines and hydraulic pumps.
The mounting flange of this type is made of high-quality carbon fiber material and has excellent wear resistance and a high life expectancy. In addition, the flange coupling has high mechanical component strength and thermal stability.
The bent tooth flange coupling is very flexible in design. The flange connection dimensions are available according to SAE standards as well as special dimensions and can be combined arbitrarily with steel hubs from the extensive standard product range of BoWex shaft couplings.
