EDR .. explosion-proof motors - The EDR .. motor series is available in 13 sizes and can be used in environments with explosive air/gas mixtures and/or air/dust mixtures.

Even in potentially explosive atmospheres, you can still choose the EDR .. series explosion-proof AC motors. This is because our explosion-proof AC motors in the EDR .. series meet the standards.

The motors are available in a total of 14 sizes: 63 to 315, with a power range of 0.12 kW to 175 kW (50 Hz) or 200 kW (60 Hz) and offer different levels of performance. Thus, we enable you to utilize a variety of drive combinations for various systems and machines in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Use our modular system and combine explosion-proof motors with parallel shaft, worm, bevel or SPIROPLAN® gear units. Your choice. Also suitable for servo applications, this range also includes a suitable planetary gear unit or helical-bevel gear unit.
