W series right-angle Gearmotors

Do you have high speed requirements for your material handling system, but little space is available for the drive and it is lightweight? You can use the W series right-angle gear units from SEW.
Right-angle gear units: maintenance-free transmission
The W series helical gear units are characterized by a wear-free tooth profile. They provide stable power transmission and stable speed regulation of conveyor systems.

W series right-angle gear units are available with an output torque of 180 Nm and a power range of 0.09 kW to 3 kW.

The steel-on-steel material combination and the special tooth meshing allow the gear units to be compactly designed, thus saving installation space.

Operation: with wear-free SPIROPLAN® transmission.
Lightweight and compact: aluminum housing and specially designed transmission.
The devil is in the details
The gear units are lightweight with aluminum housings. And thanks to special gears and lifetime lubrication, they require little maintenance and can operate reliably over the long term. No compromises: SPIROPLAN® gear units are suitable for most drive tasks, thanks to their wide range of design options.

Using the modular concept, W series gear units can be combined with AC motors to form W..DR..SPIROPLAN® right-angle gear units and with servo motors to form W..CMP SPIROPLAN® right-angle servo gear units. You can also select the AC motor or servo motor that meets your requirements individually.
