Overview


The body shape is designed by computer, and the torque of the worm gear and the life of the bearings are calculated using modern and precise technical procedures. Such high quality of the product is due to the use of technologies specifically designed for the consistency of performance parameters and strict inspection of the product manufacturing and finished products.


Worm Gear


The overall shape of the worm gear is bronze "ZI" type. This shape improves the continuity and vibration amplitude of the reducer, and the torque transmission can also be gentle and gradual. The operation of the reducer is silent and vibration-free.


Housing


The reducer chassis is produced using modern die-casting technology and is made of aluminum. The smoothness of the chassis surface makes it unnecessary to paint the chassis, because we do not paint the chassis. Beautiful appearance and good performance are combined. The die-cast chassis is equipped with a reinforcement frame, but it does not change the weight of the body and ensures the strength, hardness, surface and heat dissipation of the chassis.


Bearing


From size 75, a tapered roller shaft is used as the input shaft, which makes the adjustment of the backlash easier. In this way, the radial and axial loads on the input shaft are significantly improved. The reducer operates in a silent and vibration-free state, no adjustments are required, and the need for maintenance is greatly reduced. Tapered roller shafts can also be used as output shafts if required.


Lubricant


All worm reducers in the I-MI series are lubricated with a lifetime lubricant specified by SITI, with synthetic oils replacing conventional lubricants. The use of synthetic oils can improve efficiency under limited conditions.


Reversibility


The reversibility and irreversibility of the worm reducer can be changed as a function of the optional structural parameters. Sometimes some special applications require its reversibility, while other cases require irreversibility. In order to solve the customers detailed and specific needs, it is recommended that you contact SITI Engineering Department.


Operational state


This product is silent and vibration-free in all operating states. Compared with other worm reducers, it is a highly efficient product and suitable for large workloads.


Options


Built-in torque limiter

The customer can adjust the transmission torque of the reducer by adjusting the nut on the torque limiter.

Double-start worm
All I-MI series reducers can be equipped with double-start worm.

Single-stage reduction body
All worm gear reducers can be equipped with a pre-reduction device at the input position.
Pre-reduction devices are divided into two types:
P 63, 71, 80, 90
P 110
SITI pre-reduction devices up to 90 are made of aluminum die-cast housing, and then equipped with B14 flange to minimize the size of the body. The advantage of this structural design is that it can be supplied as a single part and assembled on the input flange.
P 110 is made of G 25 cast iron and can also be directly connected to the reducer; in addition, it can also be equipped with a B5 flange.
