
MU Series Square Box Worm Gearbox
Overview
The body shape is designed by computer, and the torque of the worm gear and the life of the bearings are calculated using modern and precise technical procedures. Such high quality of the product is due to the use of technologies specifically designed for the consistency of performance parameters and strict inspection of product manufacturing and finished products.
Worm Gear
The overall shape of the worm gear is bronze "ZI" type. This shape improves the continuity and vibration amplitude of the reducer, and the torque transmission can also be carried out gently and gradually. The operation of the reducer is silent and vibration-free.
Housing
The reducer chassis is produced using modern die-casting technology and is made of aluminum. The smoothness of the chassis surface makes it unnecessary to paint the chassis, because we do not paint the chassis. Beautiful appearance and good operation are combined. The die-cast chassis is equipped with a reinforcement frame, but it does not change the weight of the body and ensures the strength, hardness and heat transfer between the surface and the surrounding environment.
Bearing
From size 75 onwards, tapered roller bearings are used as input shafts, which makes the adjustment of the backlash easier. This significantly improves the radial and axial loads on the input shaft. The reducer operates in a silent and vibration-free state, without any adjustments and with a significantly reduced need for maintenance. Tapered roller bearings can also be used as output shafts as required.
Lubricant
All worm reducers of the U-MU series are lubricated with a lifetime lubricant specified by SITI, with synthetic oils replacing conventional lubricants. The use of synthetic oils improves efficiency under limited conditions.
Reversibility
The worm reducer can be reversible or irreversible as a function of the optional construction parameters. Sometimes reversibility is required for special applications, while irreversibility is mandatory in other cases. Operational conditions
This product is silent and vibration-free in all operating conditions. Compared to other worm reducers, it is a highly efficient product and suitable for large workloads.
Option
All worm reducers in this series can be equipped with a pre-reduction device-P on the input shaft. SITIs pre-reduction devices are made using current aluminum die-casting technology and are equipped with B14 flanges to minimize the size of the machine body. The advantage of this structural design is that it can be supplied as an individual part and assembled to the input flange. All M-MU series can be equipped with double-start worms.
Performance parameters
