Overview

Hansen P4 gearboxes are available in 19 different sizes, with torques ranging from 6kNm to 1100 kNm and rated power capped at 7,500kW. Two-, three-, or four-stage gearboxes are available, with reduction ratios between 6.3 and 630. Solid or hollow shafts, parallel or orthogonal shafts can be selected according to industry needs.

Hansen Transmissions P4 series multistage gearboxes have a wide range of applications. Horizontal and right-angle designs are available in 19 sizes for horizontal and vertical installations, with mechanical rated power capped at 10,000 hp, rated torque up to 10,000,000 in.-lbs, and speed ratios ranging from 6.3:1 to 630:1. The P4 series features low noise and low weight, is suitable for very harsh environments, and has good reliability.

The motor is mounted on top of the gearbox.
Strong oval lifting lugs for easy access.
Standard fixing points on the side of the gearbox for easy installation (e.g. cooling system).
Preparation bar for small case for easy centering during installation.
Easy-to-remove cover for easy field service installation.
Surface design is smooth.
Fully drain system provided – drain plug at the bottom, drain holes and channels inside.
Central filling connection for internal oil supply to keep all parts fully lubricated before start-up.
Large inspection cover with reusable O-ring.
Horizontally split case for easy maintenance.
