• High efficiency and low noise:

Hyponic reducer adopts hypoid gear design, which takes into account the low noise of worm gear and high efficiency of bevel gear in performance. It is a high-efficiency and low-noise reducer. Compared with worm gear, the sliding friction of hypoid gear is smaller, so its transmission efficiency is higher than that of worm gear; on the other hand, the gear meshing of spiral bevel gear is generally about 2 teeth, while Hyponic hypoid gear has about 2.5 teeth of meshing, so its noise is lower than that of bevel gear during operation. In addition, Sumitomo reducer has also developed 3D analysis to further reduce noise.

•  Compared with worm gearboxes, HYPONIC has a longer service life: 

HYPONIC gears are made of SCM420H Chromium Molybdenum alloy steel and are treated with jacket carbonization, while worm gears are made of brass and are not heat treated, so they are relatively "soft".

• More convenient to install and use:：

The new Hyponic reducer adopts a square mounting surface, and the four mounting bolt holes are also arranged in a square. Even if the horizontal installation is changed to a vertical installation, there is no need to change the position of the mounting holes.
The mounting surface is relatively independent of the motor, and the motor size is smaller than the gearbox size, which makes HYPONICs space requirements simpler during design and installation, and the design and installation are more convenient. Due to the use of grease lubrication, its installation is not limited by the installation direction, and it provides a variety of installation methods such as foot, flange, and shaft installation.

• The output shaft of the HYPONIC reducer can be a hollow shaft, left (right) output shaft, and double output shaft for customers to choose from.

•  Integrated housing design, compact structure, saves installation space:

Compared with worm gear, HYPONIC with the same output power is smaller and lighter. The integrated housing design makes the machine more sealed. Its standard Hyponic products have an IP55 rating and can be used in a variety of fields including food processing machines, while its IP56-rated products are more suitable for machinery that requires regular water washing and dust prevention.
