Overview
Helical Shaft Mount (HSM) reducers are mounted directly on the main drive shaft of the equipment, and the Taper-Grip bushing design provides simple keyless installation and removal. The optimized tooth shape and wide tooth surface design of the carburized gears give the HSM reducer a high rated capacity and efficient torque output.

Compact size, simple structure, and long service life:
The wide tooth surface design, 14° helix angle and 25° pressure angle can withstand great impact. The high-speed shaft and intermediate shaft use ball bearings. The low-speed shaft uses deep groove ball bearings, and tapered ball bearings are also optional.
Excellent manufacturing process:
The shaft of the HSM is made of alloy steel material, and the mating parts with bearings and gears are precision ground. The cast iron housing is precisely drilled and fixed with dowel pins to make the assembly precise.
Easy to disassemble and replace, easy to replace and maintain:
With the Taper-Grip bushing shaft, keyless installation can be adopted. The torque arm can be mounted to the housing at two dedicated housing points without removing other housing devices. The design of the turnbuckle makes the belt system adjustment very quick and easy.
Good sealing to avoid leakage:
The housing plug has an integral sealing gasket, the shaft end cover is treated with rubber liquid and can be self-sealed to the housing that meets the ISO standard size. The oil seal is a standard metal-reinforced double-lip spring seal. TACONITE oil seals can also be selected for harsh conditions. The oil seal supply range is relatively wide.
Easy motor installation:
The motor can be directly mounted to the frame using the threaded holes around the hollow shaft and flange-mounted. This flange mounting method can save a bearing.
Many specifications and diverse choices:
HSM is available in 13 models and 4 reduction ratios. The hollow shaft output is available in metric and imperial Taper-Grip or through hole. The input shaft meets ISO standards and is available in metric and imperial sizes.
At the same time, we also have backstops suitable for various machine sizes and reduction ratios.
